The Boeing Space & Launch Division's Global Satellite Configuration and Control Equipment (GSCCE) program is looking for Software Engineers (Experienced/Senior) in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems (SI&WS) Division's GSCCE program is seeking motivated, goal-achieving, and team-oriented systems engineers to update, upgrade, and develop an updated and modernized global military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) ground system that will manage the WGS Payloads for all F1-F12 Boeing-built Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites.
As a Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) member of the GSCCE team, you will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization and development to the maintenance and support of the delivered system for our customers. These roles provide opportunities for you to significantly influence project outcomes. Position Responsibilities:
· Full-Stack developer, proficient in all application layers from the user interface to the server-side logic and database.
· Develop and maintain custom software applications using Java, Python, C++, React.js, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
· Familiar with code hardening and the Application Security & Development (AS&D) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
· Familiar with code quality and code coverage tools like linting and static application security testing (SAST).
· Designs, develops, analyzes, documents, and maintains software systems that meet industry, customer and internal quality, safety, security and certification standards.
· Completes software system-level analyses to identify risks, issues and opportunities; integrates and deploys mitigation actions throughout the software lifecycle.
· Performs code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards.
· Monitors and reviews test completion, verification processes, and issue resolution for software.
· Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root causes, recommend direction, and develop a solution to ensure optimal performance.
· Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code within the existing codebase, ensuring alignment with established architecture and coding standards.
· Advocating for improvements to product quality, security, and performance that have a particular impact on your team and others.
· Supporting junior engineering talent with mentorship or technical guidance.
· Excellent communication shills, working with end-users to design and build solutions to their needs, a habit of self-directed learning of new technologies, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related experience OR
Master's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, data science, or computer science and 3+ years of related experience
4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree

Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices, along with experience supporting Government security requirements for software delivery involving system accreditation.
Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work is authorized (minimum 3 days onsite)

$114,000 - $158,000
