The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Position Summary: Cook, clean and care for the clientele of the Prematernal Home.
 
Position Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions and other duties as assigned. 
  • Minimum Education:  none
  • License, Certification, Registration:  CPR and First Aide within 90 days of hire
  • Equipment/Tools:  Kitchen Equipment
  • Specialized Knowledge and Skills:  Proficient in English, speak, read, and write
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:  Prematernal Home Clients
  • The attendant has to recognize signs of labor and pregnancy distress
  • Personable and friendly
