We are looking for a Utility Projects Scheduler (Controls IV); to provide project, project portfolio, and program scheduling expertise including resource and budget management support functions for the System Planning & Projects (SPP) Division. The person who fills this position will start on the Accelerated Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) which is a 10-year program to renew gas infrastructure identified as high-risk.
The SPP Division plans and delivers projects and programs that serve the electric, natural gas, water, and wastewater needs of the Colorado Springs community. Our team of dedicated professionals meet the needs of our organization by ensuring that infrastructure projects are delivered efficiently through their project lifecycle with effective application of project controls skills and supporting tools and systems.
Key Focus Areas:
Who you are...the ideal candidate will have 10 years or more direct experience in a Project Manager/Project Controls position related to the above responsibilities, experience and expertise in scheduling and scheduling controls skills including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, activity network development, activity logic relationships (e.g. Finish to Start, Start to Start, Finish to Finish, Start to Finish), Critical Path Method (CPM), schedule tracking, analysis, and reporting. We are looking for candidates who have experience with Primavera P6 and ideally, Microsoft Project, as most of our more complex projects/programs are managed in Primavera P6 and a scheduler is required for these projects.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or small amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
