THE POSITION
The Brattle Group is seeking a driven Recruiting Assistant in our Washington, DC office. The Recruiting Assistant will primarily support the talent acquisition (TA) team within the human resources department. The Recruiting Assistant will ensure high quality and timely administration of transactional and administrative recruiting processes. This position will work with all members of the HR team, assist with other areas of HR, and specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare candidate interview schedules which may include: sending out interview/video screen requests, corresponding directly with candidates, coordinating travel, notifying applicable office of candidate schedules, greeting and wrapping up with candidates as necessary and performing candidate testing or presentation set-up
- Post and maintain job postings in applicant tracking system, external posting sites (various colleges, Monster, LinkedIn, etc.), BHive, and corporate website
- Create and maintain electronic candidate files; scan and organize hardcopy interview notes into appropriate files; update candidate recruiting logs as necessary
- Maintain and organize recruiting inbox and notify TA team of noteworthy inquiries or respond as necessary and appropriate
- Maintain active employees in ReSchedge platform
- Notify candidates, as directed, whose qualifications are not a fit for open positions
- Assemble and distribute welcome packages to new consulting hires
- Generate, maintain and distribute TA related reports
- Maintain employee referral program and ensure timely responses and updates to referring employees
- Under the direction of Director of TA, oversee annual AAP process
- Assist with HRIS data entry for new hires
- Assist with applicant tracking: process candidates through Taleo as directed
- Assist with the processing of TA related invoices, candidate reimbursements, hotel direct bill authorizations, and reconciliation of Amex
- Greet new employees in DC office and take picture for publishing purposes on BHive
- Generate and distribute new hire paperwork, complete I-9 form and enter new DC employees into E-Verify
THE CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- At least 1 year of professional office experience or internships preferably in a professional services, Human Resources or office environment
- A working, intermediate level knowledge of MS office for Word-processing, spreadsheet development and maintenance, creation of presentations and database software skills
- Ability and desire to work in a dynamic office environment involving multiple tasks
- Must be able to exercise good judgment in handling confidential information and matters
- Requires ability to concentrate and manage a high volume of details
- Dedicated focus on customer service
- Ability to build rapport with team and internal clients
- Problem solving attitude
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Occasional travel may be required
