The Brattle Group is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant in our Boston, MA, San Francisco, CA, or Washington, DC office. Legal Assistants play an active role in the substantive work of the Firm’s Legal Department, including contract negotiations and corporate governance. In addition, because Brattle’s business involves litigation support, Legal Assistants have an unique window into the litigation process and the legal practice more generally. Legal Assistants report directly to the General Counsel and collaborate with other members of the Legal Department on short and long-term projects. Legal Assistants also have significant interaction with the Firm’s domestic and international consulting and corporate services staff, as well as external law firm personnel and client procurement departments. As the Firm grows, this position offers increasing responsibility and challenging work to the right candidate.

THE CANDIDATE This position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects concurrently both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who possesses intellectual curiosity about business and legal concepts and the ability to think beyond the assignment given. This candidate should also have a professional approach to their written and verbal communications.
