The Brattle Group, a privately held, global economics consulting firm, is looking for a Director of Employee Experience to join our Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, or Washington, DC officeThe Director of Employee Experience is responsible for establishing, leading, and executing the strategies and programs designed to continuously improve the overall employee experience at Brattle. This includes key areas of focus like onboarding, performance, morale, development, and retention of employees across both the consulting and corporate services staff.

 

The role requires the understanding and integrating of significant initiatives across HR that influence the employee experience and ensure we have one cohesive approach firm-wide. This role will manage and direct the Employee Experience team, coordinate with leaders outside of HR who are leading initiatives with a large-scale employee experience impact, and lead the administration and results analysis for employee feedback surveys, using findings to create employee-focused strategies and programs.  

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Establish a vision for the entire employee experience at Brattle and implement a strategy that effectively engages and inspires our global workforce to deliver their best performance
  • Ensure the global employee experience is consistent, inclusive, and aligned with the Brattle values
  • Direct engagement survey execution, and use results to bring together the story to share with leaders and employees, and support action planning in partnership with HR Business Partners
  • Liaise with Group Leads on organizational structure and hiring targets
  • Partner with executives to identify their key people needs
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure business hiring needs are met
  • Work with Learning and Development to develop onboarding and trainings in line with needs of the firm
  • Champion and influence cultural shifts that create diverse, equitable and inclusive outcomes
  • Work with stakeholders to manage and design employee development paths
  • Oversee performance review and promotion process for all employees
  • Collaborate with Benefit and Compensation team to ensure the needs of employees are being addressed
  • Develop strong relationships with employees and key leaders across the firm, fostering open communication and trust
  • Investigate, monitor, advise, and address employee relations issues
  • Direct stay and exit interview process and develop and implement strategies to address findings
  • Direct inter-office transfer process
  • Collect and analyze various data to assist the business in its decision-making regarding policies and procedures
  • Manage upkeep of relevant  policies to ensure continued relevance
  • Assist and collaborate with other HR initiatives, as needed

 

THE CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; HR certification preferred
  • Strong employee relations background
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering HR strategies that support business goals and initiatives
  • Excellent people management and project management skills
  • Demonstrated success as a Human Resources leader with experience in managing a team of HR professionals
  • High integrity and ability to maintain sensitive information
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and interacting cross-functionally and with leaders at multiple levels and in different geographies
  • Experience successfully devising and implementing engagement surveys and other global listening vehicles
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, influence, and conflict resolution skills
  • Occasional travel may be required, post-COVID and once travel restrictions are lifted
