Over the past few years, Bridgespan has invested in formalized areas of focus, internally known as “Practices” and “Areas of Expertise”.  The role of the Learning & Innovation (L&I) team is to drive Bridgespan’s growth by investing in developing knowledge within these areas of focus, and ensuring the resulting insights and expertise are shared robustly.  The Knowledge Associate will support the L&I team by managing Bridgespan’s internal resources to support firm wide knowledge processes.


  • Knowledge exchange process support:
    • Manage tracking systems to support knowledge processes across global organization 
    • Provide teams with tools and templates to support the knowledge process 
    • Maintain ongoing engagement with case teams to ensure insights are captured according to best practices, and that knowledge deliverables are completed
    • Maintain people profiles on Bridgespan’s intranet, regularly updating titles and expertise 
    • Post pages, including client and project sites, on Bridgespan’s internal intranet using templated processes
  • L&I process support:
  • Manage Bridgespan's internal resources; purchase and track subscriptions and maintain the resource library 
  • Manage usage of editorial supports for case teams
  • Manage usage of select external resources 
  • Format and output impact assessment reports for Leadership casework
  • Manage impact assessment data details across technology platforms, including editing and uploading reports and creating appropriate links between platforms
  • Assist with data reporting needed 
  • Develop understanding of Bridgespan work, including:
    • Major Institute IP
    • Internal tools and products
    • Current Bridgespan experts


  • Associates, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent undergraduate degree preferred
  • 2+ years of professional experience with exposure to one or more of the following disciplines: consulting, research and analysis, knowledge management, strategic planning, business development, product development, marketing, and/or project management
  • Superior organization skills and customer service attitude
  • Experience managing databases
  • Strong ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Attentive to detail 
  • Self-motivated; able to work autonomously, while appreciating guided coaching and collaborative teaming
  • Strong communication skills
  • Alignment with Bridgespan’s values and beliefs; experience and proficiency engaging on issues of racial equity and systemic racism
  • Proficiency in applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to learn new technology quickly, is required; experience with SharePoint a plus
