About Bridgespan India
Established in 2015, the rapidly growing Mumbai office of The Bridgespan Group helps to catalyze a stronger social sector with the goal of improving quality of life for the most vulnerable populations. We pursue projects that are intellectually challenging and have the potential for significant social impact; our services include strategy consulting, leadership development, anchoring sector building initiatives, and developing and sharing insights through publications. We leverage The Bridgespan Group’s global knowledge and best practices, gathered over 20 years in the sector, as well as our team’s local expertise to build fields and accelerate social change in India and across the region.
Since our office opened, we have completed advisory projects on a range of issues including education and skilling, health, livelihoods, and land rights. Our clients include prominent international and domestic foundations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Omidyar Network, and Tata Trusts, nonprofits such as Anudip Foundation and Janaagraha, and ecosystem actors such as Dasra and Impact Investors Council. We also recently launched the Bridgespan Nonprofit Development Program, a capacity-building initiative for nonprofits.
Bridgespan is currently seeking experienced strategy consulting Managers. Managers who join Bridgespan traditionally are in good standing with a leading strategy consulting firm and join Bridgespan because of a passion to make greater social impact and a desire to work full time in the nonprofit sector. The Manager role is viewed as a senior role within the firm, a true stepping stone to Partner where managers develop expertise in team and client management, while also developing specific thought leadership in a practice area central to Bridgespan’s mission. Managers oversee the formulation and implementation of strategic recommendations to improve the performance of Bridgespan’s clients. Managers build and maintain client relationships, provide leadership and supervision to case team members, assume responsibility for the analytical process by which case teams create value, and have the opportunity to shape the trajectory of Bridgespan India by participating in key office decisions and developing firm-building initiatives. They develop professionally through formal trainings, regular coaching/mentorship, and on the-job training, and receive international exposure and experience through client engagements, trainings, and retreats.
