The Work:

  • Leading a development team of 15-20 FTE’s focused on storing and managing system SSR data using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing complex solutions utilizing AWS native technologies
  • Ensuring the development team stays on schedule and is able to meet programmatic milestones
  • Represents the team at customer meetings, TEMs and contributes to the team agile planning ceremonies
  • Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
  • Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
  • Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
  • Agile development and delivery of software
  • Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
     

Required Skills

  • Java, Spring boot or python
  • Microservice architectures
  • CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, , Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker, Ansible
  • Database : NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design
  • OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
  • Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber
  • Previous team leadership experience is desired but not required.
  • Knowledge of UTT or targeting is desired
     

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • 15 years of relevant experience Master’s degree plus 13 years of relevant experience. An Associate’s degree plus 17 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 19 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
  • An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph with CI poly within the last 7 years
