OVERVIEW
CCS is looking for a motivated technical professional to join our team as an Associate Systems Engineer! This person is responsible for providing network configuration, server support, and deskside support in a K-12 School District environment. The ASE will collaborate with fellow district IT staff members, CCS team members and third-party vendors.
This position is paying between $75,000-$85,000 annually. Pay will be based on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform basic administration on server infrastructure (group policies, scripting, permissions etc.)
Perform basic user administration within Office 365
Perform basic administration of switching/wireless environment
Serve as primary escalation point for resolution of technical issues for Deskside Technicians
Monitor and report on team progress of support-based initiatives (imaging workstations, deployments, etc.)
Deploy and maintain hardware/software for workstations and mobile devices
Provide resolution and assistance with standard supported applications: Office 365 and other supported proprietary applications and operating systems
Monitor, manage and report on ticket queue in help desk system
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a system engineering level role
Server certifications (AWS / Azure) and/or experience with administering Windows Server preferred
Cisco Certified Network Associate (or equivalent) certification preferred
Work independently or as part of a team in troubleshooting, deploying, diagnosing and problem resolution of workstations, peripheral devices and connectivity to local & wide area networks
Work independently or part of a team to help complete support related initiatives (e.g. imaging, deployments, etc.) during non-peak periods
