
Senior Software Engineer - Back End
Why This is an Exciting Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), the selected candidate will be responsible for:
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Work closely with the Chief Engineer to design feature specifications and build products
Conduct design and code reviews
Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance
Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited course of study and 20+ years of professional experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree

Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work authorized, up to 16 hours per week, depending on team and workload

Summary Pay Range:

$187,000 - $250,000
