We offer a complete range of accounting, corporate secretarial, financial statements preparation, tax and audit liaising and payment services. This position falls within the Citco Governance Services SPV Accounting Team.

Job Duties in a Brief

  • Manage and oversee all service related matters for a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate structures (including underlying SPVs and Management Companies), in particular the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annually financial reporting, annual financial statements and cash management
  • Manage and supervise staff in your team, including accountants, company secretaries and other support staff in Singapore and Shared Service Centers and coordinate internal and external timelines to ensure deliverables to clients are met
  • Communicate and work effectively with clients, investors/shareholders and third party providers which may include auditors, tax agents, property managers and legal counsels;
  • Involvement with and supervision of other aspects of client work such as workload budgeting, business development, corporate legal, on-boarding of new clients, accounts receivables, KYC/compliance, invoicing etc;
  • Maintain, develop and expand business relationships with local & international clients and other business contacts and colleagues;
  • Monitor and assess staff training requirements on an ongoing basis to ensure team members are fully equipped to service clients in an efficient and effective manner;
  • Provide personal directorships to client entities in your portfolio;
  • Provide mentoring, training & coaching to staff on an ongoing basis where required;
  • Monitor time registration of team members;
  • Monitor and ensure that key deadlines are met by the team and that work processes are in line with Citco Group procedures and KPIs;
  • Continually assess internal processes and procedures to ensure that these are efficient, in line with local regulations and market practice and suggest adaptations where required;
  • Manage and complete ad hoc internal projects that arise from time to time

Job Duties in a Brief

  • Minimally Bachelor Degree major in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent, CA/ CPA qualified
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in an accounting role;
  • Exposure to tax driven structures is a definite advantage
  • Experience in handling financial reporting preparation for Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Segregated Portfolio Companies structures, including Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), Property Companies, and Management entities;
  • Knowledge of cross border consolidations in Singapore FRS, Australia GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS;
  • Strong client relationship, financial/accounting and analytical skills
  • Strong and up to date technical knowledge
  • Strong administration and people management skills with an attentional to detail
  • Commercial, dynamic and confident attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Control and management of financial resources and revenues within an organization
  • Team player;
  • Proven ability to multi-task while meeting challenging deadlines for multiple clients at a time;
  • Experience with Transfer Agency and Investor Relations services;

  • Strong knowledge in GST reporting and consolidation is a plus;
  • Prior experience with dealing with client relationships and/or working within the Outsourced Accounting Services industry is a plusPrior knowledge in Yardi or Investran would be a plus
