About the Role: 

The Citco Governance Services Development Team is currently looking for a Lead Developer that is a team player who can work beyond their specialty to lead the team in delivery.  You will be working in a cross-functional team to build, test and deliver cloud and self-hosted applications for the financial services industry. You will be interfacing with stakeholders in Europe and North America and some workday offset will be required.

 

Job Duties in Brief: 

• Lead a team of engineers in all aspects of delivery

• Deliver solutions as part of a cross-functional team

• Develop front and back end code using React, Node and Dot Net

• Be comfortable using NoSQL and relational databases

• Participate and contribute on all team activities such as Planning, Execution, Weekly Reporting and Jira management

• Perform reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work 

• Testing: Design and implement automated unit and system testing

 

About You: 

• Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related field 

• 4+ years of software delivery experience

• 2+ years of professional experience with React and Redux

• 2+ years of overall experience in server side Javascript such as Node

• 2+ year experience in Dot Net

• 1+ year experience delivering solutions in AWS. CloudFormation, S3, Lambda, API gateway, DynamoDB

• Experience in responsive web design, fluid layouts and positioning, browser behavior and compatibility, cross-browser issues and solutions

• Solid understanding of HTML5, ES6, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks

• Experience with source code management such as GIT

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

• Overall experience with relational and NoSQL databases 

• Experienced with development methodologies; Participation in code reviews, Pair Programming, etc…

• Must be self-motivated and driven, with demonstrated knowledge and skills in: Creativity, technical analysis, problem solving, communication and client service.

• Knowledge of financial industry is highly desirable
