About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre professional to join Citco’s Client Services team in Toronto. Reporting to a Senior Vice President of the Client Services team, this is a role that requires proactive client relationship management for a portfolio of asset managers.
As the Client Services Vice President, you are expected to understand and meet the needs of clients by ensuring service deliverables are met in a timely fashion. It is important to create and nurture long term relationships with clients and work with core and ancillary service teams both locally and globally to ensure service levels are optimum.
Job Duties in Brief:
- Establish professional relationships with clients and other key internal/external parties as required
- Drive strategic communication with clients and negotiate service level agreements (SLA)
- Understand and communicate clients’ requests with various Citco business functions, operational and support teams to promote effective internal communication
- Develop a broad understanding of Citco business lines and associated product/service propositions
- Understand the industry and regulatory environment and be sensitive to industry change and business trends, identifying new areas of growth
- Identify opportunities to expand existing relationship by cross-selling additional Citco products/services; Drive the coordination of new client integrations and existing client launches
- In partnership with the Client Services Management team, facilitate presentations to existing and prospective clients
- Participate and lead projects in connection with the continuing evolution of the business
- Monitor and manage client SLAs and operational deliverables
- Review client profitability & accounts recivables and address negative trends
- Work closely with the Operations team to identify opportunities for process improvements and system development with the aim of minimizing operational risk and improving efficiencies
- Review risk logs and support, co-ordinate and communicate incident resolution as necessary
- Lead operational due diligence reviews and client visits
- Compile periodic board reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and scorecards for clients; Carry out periodic risk assessments and peer reviews of clients
- Actively maintain client status, commentary and client updates in internal CRM tools
- Provide training and supervision to Managers on the Client Services team
About You:
- University degree in a relevant discipline with 7+ years related work experience in the financial serviced industry, preferably within a hedge fund administrator and/or investment company
- 2+ years formal people management/ leadership experience
- A proven interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry
- Demonstrated leadership experience coupled with superior communication skills
- Highly analytical with strong attributes on business processes, Accounting and allocation systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel & Powerpoint) and Outlook
