About the Role:

You will become part of a team of lawyers, accountants and secretarial support that manages a portfolio of client companies.

Job Duties in Brief:

• Responsible for all accounting matters for client companies, such as review of the accounting done by junior accountants or Citco’s SSC, preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting and annual accounts, WHT and VAT returns;
• Communicate with and assist clients, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions and other Citco offices worldwide;
• Assist auditors in case of audits performed on client companies;
• Maintain and develop a good network of internationally established clients;
• Manage a team.

About You:

• Accounting qualification and 6+ years of experience in an accounting position and 2+ years managing a team; exposure to tax driven structures is a definite advantage;
• Experience on preparing Consolidated Financial Statements;
• Strong financial/accounting and analytical skills;
• Commercial, dynamic attitude and excellent communication skills;
• Able to work in a team and autonomously;
• Able to set priorities, be flexible and highly accurate;
• Knowledge of IFRS, Spanish GAAP;
• Fluency in English and Spanish;
• Knowledge of Real Estate accounting systems e.g. Yardi, MRI a plus;
• Experience on Real Estate accounting is an advantage.
