Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a HyperWorks Modeling and Visualization Technical Support Specialist to join our Global Technical Team at our Altair offices in Greece. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in HyperWorks products to deliver technical solutions to our customers. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, Training, and Field teams, acting as a channel for continuous product improvement.  


What You Will Do:

  • Technical Support: engage with customers, to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. 
  • Content Creation: work closely with the customers, and internal stakeholders to identify topics for digital content creation.   
  • Training: conduct virtual and in-person trainings to improve our users competency with our solutions.
  • Demonstrators: Work closely with the Field teams and help build Demo kits as well as work on Proof of concepts and Benchmarks as requested by the customers. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the development teams and provide them with insight into customer usage of HyperWorks products.  

 

What You Will Need:

 

  • An Undergraduate or a Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar 
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering  
  • Self-starter who can work with minimum supervision, with a strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities while maintaining a strong focus on execution and results. 
  • Collaborative, team oriented, yet able to initiate and drive customer support engagements. 
  • Sense of urgency, pragmatism and a solution-oriented approach to solving problems
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to work with clients via ticketing systems, phone calls and online meetings. 

  • German and English language fluency

 

Preferred:

  • 1-2 years of experience in using HyperWorks products in an industry setting. 
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. 
  • Working knowledge of Finite Element Methods
