Linux Devs Engineer

What You Will Do:
Software Development & Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services that run on Linux systems.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using various programming languages, such as C, C++, Python, or Go.
- Collaborate with other developers to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software applications and services.
System Administration & Optimization:
- Configure and manage Linux servers, including installation, updates, and security hardening.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Implement automation scripts to streamline system administration tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, including network connectivity and resource allocation.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with other developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document technical specifications and procedures to ensure clear communication and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
- Implement security best practices to protect systems from vulnerabilities and attacks.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security and regulatory standards.
What You Will Need:
Basics:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Linux Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, including kernel concepts, system calls, and shell scripting.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for Linux development, such as C, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with common Linux development tools, such as GCC, GDB, Make, and Git.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
- Experience with system administration tasks, such as user management, file system management, and package installation.
- Understanding of security principles and best practices for Linux systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for Linux and open-source technologies.
- Hybrid position. At least 2 days a week at the office.
