Job Summary: 

Selling and promoting Altair’s products and support services by demonstrating Altair’s value add proposition to HLS prospects/Customers. Actively build strong relationships to win and close new business

What You Will Do:

  • Define a sales strategy to build sales pipeline (both long and short term) to achieve
  • revenue targets and business objectives
  • Full sales cycle from prospecting, pipeline development, nurturing inbound leads,
  • opportunity identification, closing new business, and current key growth and strategic
  • customer management
  • Scout for new business opportunities, and expand business with existing customers
  • Knowledgeable about the customer, by understanding their strategy, sustainability
  • commitments, c-level, priorities, etc. not just silo department (Engineering department
  • within P&L or product line)
  • Analyze, interpret, and respond to requests for proposals
  • Initiate and lead customer executive meetings. Ability to build top down relationships with
  • customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues (including co-selling), business development
  • representatives, pre-sales, and marketing on a regular basis to ensure team synergy
  • Develop and nurture relationships with partners, clients, and prospects
  • Propose and implement strategies to improve lead generation and qualification as well as
  • increase customer engagement
  • Actively participate in marketing events
  • Carry out competitive intelligence

What You Will Need:

Basics:

  • Experience in implementing sales strategies, sales process, and methodologies
  • 1-2+ years Software Solutions Sales experience (preferred)
  • Excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation skills
  • Results oriented with strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
