Test Engineer L2

Job Summary:

Our client in Raymond, OH is looking for a Test Engineer L2. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

• This position takes responsibility for specific ADAS technologies, overseeing development, validation, and testing within development projects. This involves both hands-on coordination and strategic oversight to ensure the successful integration of advanced driver-assistance systems, meeting high-quality standards and surpassing customer expectations.
  
• Comprehensive understanding of vehicle dynamics, steering control functions and experience for tuning vehicle control systems.
  
• Comprehensive understanding of requirements management, function validation, diagnostics, and CAN structures.
  
• Hands on mechanical ability / Understanding of vehicle systems.
  
• Analytical skills to prepare prototype vehicles for testing.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues and propose solutions to those issues.
  
• Some travel domestic and internationally should be expected to visit various proving grounds, visit suppliers’ engineering offices and production locations and support factories during pre-production launch timings.
  
• Valid driver’s license required to operate vehicles on proving grounds.
  
• PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CANalyzer, CANape and other technical software).
  
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical hardware fundamentals and software development process.

Basics:

• BS Degree in ME/EE.
• Test Engineer with min 3 years of automotive ADAS test engineering experience.
