Our client in Greensboro, NC is looking for a Technician - Spare Parts Specialists. This is a contract position.

Who we’re looking for:

Our Client’s MSP Department is looking for passionate and highly motivated Spare Part Specialists, who will be integrated with plant maintenance and facilities in order to bridge spare parts process and technical knowledge for the highest customer service potential in battery manufacturing.

A candidate with experience in manufacturing equipment, maintenance of new equipment and old equipment (former maintenance member OR former engineer member), past automotive manufacturing equipment maintenance or engineering experience should apply.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Troubleshooting spare parts issues related to equipment failures in production and facilities.
  1. Clarify production and facilities equipment problems with a focus on spare parts functions on the equipment.
  2. Review and verify specific parts are available and ability to interact with Facilities, Production Engineering, Maintenance, and Equipment Vendor to resolve problems.
  3. Bridge MSP Organizational capabilities at PEMC (Project leader, verification tools, SAP skillsets, General Stores operations and Management) to TBMNC for direct communication.
  4. Triage support for deep problem solving through the reflection step will be the focus of this position.
  5. Field Verification of spare parts on equipment with the Project Leaders.
  6. Spare parts spec confirmation through machine drawings.
     

This will be a plant support function located at TBMNC to increase customer support with spare parts management.

Basics:

  • Engineering or maintenance technical 2yr degree or equivalent work experience of 4 years.
  • Be motivated and capable of self-management.
  • Critical thinking, teamwork, and eagerness to problem solve systemic issues in job-way.
  • Ability to travel to US cities by vehicle (valid driver’s license).
  • Proficient level Experience with Microsoft systems: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint and CAD. 

Preferred:

  • Equipment design/procurement/maintenance experience. Work with automotive manufacturing and/or tier 1 parts suppliers or equipment maker.
  • Previous MSP or Shop Maintenance Experience.
  • Some experience with: Maximo, PEPS and SAP.
