The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Bethel, the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region, has a population of nearly 7,000. Description:

Position Summary: Primary duties include handling of all invoices for Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation through SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and PeopleSoft systems.

 
Position Qualifications: 
  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.  College level courses preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: Three years in accounting position, with experience in payroll, accounts payable and/or general ledger reporting.
  • License, Certification, Registration: none
  • Equipment/Tools: Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Computer competency and critical thinking skills.  Ability to work well with others. 
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: none
