Job Summary:

The Altair Data Analytics team is looking for a Business Development Representative to help generate new business. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing company currently developing new technology.

Our customers use our products to solve their business problems, and generate deeper insight from their data, resulting in increased efficiency and profitability.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for proactive inbound/outbound prospecting, lead/contact management and pipeline building
  • Your work will have a direct impact on our success by providing qualified prospects to our Application Engineers for opportunity creation
  • Partner with Application Engineers across the organisation to create new selling opportunities in key targeted accounts across multiple industry verticals.
  • Provide the guidance and training needed to become a technology sales expert while mastering the art of the cold call and the finesse of targeted email campaigns.
  • Actively collaborate with marketing and sales executives to develop the best ways to grow the Application Engineer’s Pipeline

 

What You Will Need:

Basics:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a sales role, where you can demonstrate successes and wins
  • We value software sales experience as well as enterprise and financial services industry knowledge
  • You have worked with a CRM Tool in the past
  • Fluency German and English

Preferred:

  • Experience in the areas of lead generation & qualification, account mapping and campaign building
  • Worked in an international environment, ideally in the Italian and German territory
  • Cold calling experience
