Job Summary:

The Altair Data Analytics team is looking for a Business Development Representative to help generate new business. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing company currently developing new technology.

BDRs are responsible for proactive inbound/outbound prospecting, lead/contact management and pipeline building. This position will have a direct impact on our success by providing qualified prospects to AE’s for Opportunity creation. As a member of the BDR Team you will be joining a fast-paced close nit group that thrive in a competitive environment. You will partner with AE’s across the organisation to create new selling opportunities in key targeted accounts across multiple industry verticals.


In this role, you will be provided the guidance and training needed to become a technology sales expert while mastering the art of the cold call and the finesse of targeted email campaigns. You will actively collaborate with marketing and sales executives to develop the best ways to grow the AE’s Pipeline. What You Will Need:


If you have at least 1-2 years’ experience in a sales role (or similar) where you can demonstrate successes and wins as well as fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages, (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish) or Finnish, and English, you could be our next Altairian! We also value software sales experience as well as enterprise and financial services industry knowledge.

Ideally, you will have experience in the following areas:

  • Lead generation & qualification
  • Account mapping
  • Campaign building
  • Working internationally (Nordic territory)
  • Cold calling, 40+ calls a day
  • CRM, Microsoft Office
