Job Summary:

In the role as Account Manager, you will own a number of key aerospace and defense customers with which you will work to establish Altair as their main partner in Simulation, High Performance Computing and Data Analytics. Important parts of this role are to establish and strengthen high level relationships in the customer organization and enable the customers to unlock additional value by helping them address some of their most important challenges.


What You Will Do:

  • You will develop, plan and execute account strategies to maximize Altairs growth both short-, medium- and long-term in your accounts. This means taking full benefit from Altairs broad portfolio and selling Altairs complete offering across the entire customer organization.
  • You will work in a team of extraordinarily skilled people and together with them make both the clients and Altair successful, and thereby build long-lasting and mutually beneficial business partnerships.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in your accounts, as well as for meeting set growth targets for both Software and Services.

   What You Will Need:

  • A great business mindset. Specifically, understand how Altair can create value for the customer and how to create revenue for Altair based on that.
  • Excellent ability to establish, develop and maintain business relationships on executive level.
  • The skills to develop and execute strategies and tactics to achieve set sales targets.
  • To take full responsibility for meeting your set growth targets.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Be fluent in English and Swedish
  • 3+ years of experience in PLM Software Sales (or other equivalent enterprise software)
  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering, technology, business or related discipline (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
  • A desire to travel to and meet with your clients at least 50% of your time.
  • Be a Swedish citizen
