As an Accountant, Assurance your responsibilities will include:
•    Bookkeeping preparation and posting of client transactions
•    Planning and execution of notice to reader engagements
•    Preparing adjusting journal entries
•    Performing reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable
•    Preparing personal and corporate tax returns, partnership returns, trust returns and GST returns (T1, T2s,T3s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST)
•    Working for clients under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors 
•    Working closely with colleagues and providing exceptional client service

Think you’ve got what it takes to be an Accountant, Assurance? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
•    Preferred candidates will possess a Diploma or University Degree with a concentration in Accounting
•    1-3 years of experience in an a client service role, accounting setting is an asset
•    Exposure to bookkeeping and/or accounting practices  
•    Experience with income tax preparation is considered an asset 
•    Proficiency with MS Office 2007/2010 applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure 
•    Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail 
•    Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills
