The Technical Account Manager provides an administrative, operational and technical support service in the specific sales territory for the newly defined indirect customer base of Refineries and Gas Purification customers.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management accountabilities
•    Implementing the Inside Sales strategy aimed at delivering long-term value for both JM and the customer
•    Delivering regional revenue targets and profitability for sales region
•    Maintaining on-going relationships with customers while providing technical services / troubleshooting for all customers in Catalysts Technologies market segments 
•    Ensuring forecasting systems are accurately updated
•    Generating and providing quotations
•    Determining and communicating order progress through supply chain
•    Applying appropriate marketing messages to specific customer needs
•    Identifying and escalating customer needs which may require field-based Sales/Technical Services support
•    Coordinating resources to deliver customer solutions and secure ad-hoc remote Technical Services support 
•    Relaying customer feedback to sector functions
•    Develop and implement virtual support options to ensure excellent technical services both proactively and in response to “emergencies" aimed at delivering long-term value for JM and the customer
•    Utilize customer interactions to feed technical and market information back into the business to enable JM to enhance product offering.  This includes setting up webinars or lunch and learn workshops in sharing best practices and case studies with customers and internal team members
•    Carrying out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed. 

Operational Support accountabilities
•    Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Chemistry. 

•  Developing and using documentation which frees up the Regional Sales teams to increase customer facing time
•    Delivering administrative support including filing reports, forecasting, updating CRM, proposals etc, while challenging validity of data
•    Helping with correspondence between field-based Sales and their customers
•    Assembling reports and analysing data for the field force
•    Monitoring sales targets and KPIs for the assigned region/market
•    Generating and validating draft annual budget data for regional head of sales
•    Tracking and communicating operational status of manufacturing plants and resultant product lead times
•    Ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with JM code of ethics and EHD policy and practices
•    Carrying out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
