As the International HR Senior Advisor you will support all sectors in delivering HR advice and services to JM’s countries with very small employee numbers (under 30) with no in-country HR presence, and also to all international remote working employees.

Your responsibilities:

  • Key HR advisory role on international remote workers, regardless of the country they are working in.
  • Provide operational HR support for all small countries within their remit, with the support of an administrator, in particular:
  • Setting up and onboarding employees (e.g. employment contracts, payroll, benefits).
  • Ongoing operational processes in relation to payroll (e.g. monthly submissions), benefits and vendor management and advising in respect of these.
  • Provision of advice and communication on key HR policies and practices in country.
  • Point of contact for employees for operational HR questions.
  • Working with in-country local HR to prepare employment contracts and onboarding, in circumstances where a remote worker is to be employed by an existing JM legal entity and there is local in-country HR support.
  • Coordinate internal and external support to obtain legal employment advice, payroll services, and other support as need such as translation services and tax advice.
  • Work with external providers on any payroll registration needed.


Requirements for the role:

  • Degree qualification in Human Resources or a related field, or CIPD
  • Demonstratable experience in a Human Resources related field
  • Proven operational experience in Human Resources in an international capacity
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organisation
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
  • Excellent presentation, organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working internationally over several geographies and cultures
