We are currently seeking an Electronics Technician II to join our growing organization.  The Electronics Technician II is responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems and components.

 

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

      • Assemble and/or modify electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and electrical principles.
      • Setup and operate test equipment to evaluate parts performance, assemblies, or systems under simulated conditions and record results.
      • Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after construction of prototypes or products.
      • Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems or line failures.
      • Electrical engineering background required with familiarity in microprocessor applications, circuit design, and testing. 

 

Specific Job Requirements

      • Fundamental understanding of AC/DC/RF circuitry
      • Proven ability to do hands on engineering work e.g. prototype bring-up, digital and analog troubleshooting, electro-mechanical assembly, rework, soldering, generic board and system level test
      • Proficiency using electronic test equipment such as digital scopes, data acquisition systems, spectrum & network analyzers, power supplies.
      • Ability to use electronic test tools (volt meter, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, etc) to troubleshoot electronic circuitry.

 

Education and Experience Requirements

      • 2 year Associates Degree in electronics or related field.
      • 2+ years of related experience and/or training is a must
      • Experience in equipment calibration and equipment repair to component level is required.
      • Must be able to read engineering schematics.
      • Local candidates preferred
