The Opportunity

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for developing, planning and executing recruiting strategies focused on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, including sourcing, knowledge sharing with the broader team and hiring managers, and partnering closely with the DE&I team to establish external relationships and practices in support of CPM’s goals.

Position Summary

Providing the highest level of Talent Acquisition services to hiring managers, this role will partner with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving staffing needs by sourcing and attracting best in class talent for the organization with a strong focus on inclusion of diverse talent. The Senior Recruiter will create inclusive hiring strategies, identify, develop and nurture relationships with prospective talent, manage relationships with existing external diverse partners and develop relationships with new partners to develop and maintain diverse candidate pipelines. Specifically, you will: 

  • Develop and execute scalable recruiting strategies and programs to attract and hire a diverse slate of candidates, measuring the impact of the strategy and initiatives using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Executive Leadership Team and hiring managers to discuss recruitment and anticipated workforce needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationship with CPM leaders, partners and community organizations to create partnerships that build and promote the CPM employment brand while yielding diverse, high quality candidate placement and retention. Create recruiting plans with identified key deliverables & timelines and hold leaders and external partners accountable for progress.
  • Collaborate with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council to ensure alignment with the DE&I strategy and tactics. Partner with external diversity organizations to cultivate diverse candidate pools.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process for a broad/deep range of positions to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiations, and pre-onboarding. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day full cycle recruitment and hiring, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with hiring teams and the talent management team to build effective sourcing strategies and interview processes related to DEI, including the use of job boards, social media, referrals, etc.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately while interacting with employees at all levels in a professional and productive way.
  • Build relationships and serve as point-of-contact for diversity organizations and partnership organizations to execute recruitment events and initiatives.
  • Manage multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment while working cooperatively with immediate team members and customers.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the CPM core values.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive full cycle recruitment experience.
  • Recruitment experience in a media industry preferred.
  • Working knowledge of all full cycle recruiting components including but not limited to sourcing, qualifying, due diligence, networking, job assessment and analysis, wage and salary trends, post interview documentation and feedback and relationship management.
  • Working knowledge of trends and innovative recruiting methodologies and related technology.
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting diverse talent and building diversity recruiting strategies strongly desired.
  • A proven track record of driving innovation and results for DE&I recruiting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong collaborative attitude.
  • Success utilizing data and analytics to inform and optimize recruiting strategies, influence business hiring managers and senior leaders, and understand market trends to inform decisions.
  • BA/BS Degree, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adept at utilizing applicant tracking systems and social media platforms.
  • Must possess ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced complex corporate environment with multiple competing priorities.
