The Senior Events Producer serves as a key member of the Community Engagement Team, implementing a robust portfolio of event experiences that elevates CPM brands, NPR, podcasting and audio storytelling in the Chicagoland area. The Senior Events Producer plans, executes, and implements all event components for programs in their portfolio including ideation and conceptualization, talent and venue booking, vendor management, sponsor activations, staffing and volunteer management, and event set-up and teardown. The Senior Events Producer serves as a liaison to Corporate Sponsorship, Membership and Development teams, leveraging event opportunities to engage their respective clients/constituencies. The Senior Events Producer works collaboratively with external partner organization to secure CPM journalists as event moderators and in the production of co-presented partnership events that extend CPM visibility. This role will also proactively work with CPM’s Marketing team to coordinate event marketing and promotions to develop robust audiences for events in their portfolio.

Due to current COVID restrictions, you must be able to work remotely at your own designated location with Internet access and you must be willing and able to work at our Navy Pier offices, if needed. Right now, most of our staff is working remotely.
