osition Summary: Responsible for overall Behavioral Health office management, including but not limited to provider appointment scheduling, coordination and scheduling of all support staff, supply ordering, equipment maintenance coordination, ability to answer basic Behavioral Health inquiries, mail, office layout, and staff supervision including the Front Desk Staff, and the admin assistants.

Position Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Work experience sufficient to have acquired and developed the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the functions of the position preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Administration or Management preferred.

Minimum Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in health field, preferably in behavioral Health area. Two (2) years in management experience preferred.  Experience working in cross-cultural environment. Knowledge of rural health issues.

License, Certification, Registration: Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.

Equipment/Tools: Computer proficiency with various software and database systems, calculator, multi-line phone, fax/copy machine (as needed).

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Computer skills with ability to type; operate 10-key calculator and other standard office equipment. Ability to speak, write and understand standard business English. Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets (Excel), and database programs and incorporate them into a file management system. Good interpersonal skills. Must be able to complete a variety of tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet reporting and completion deadlines with attention to detail. Ability to communicate with fluency in Yupik is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises Behavioral Health support staff including administrative assistants, Med Tech, and intake case managers.
