Electrical Foreman

Position Summary:

Provided with the materials and labor, the Foreman should be able to build a job within the Electrical fields in accordance with the blueprints from start to finish.

Position Qualifications:

Without supervision the Electrical Foreman should be able to perform work in accordance with the NEC Electrical code and International Electrical code, able to read and understand blueprints; be well versed with the installation and lay-out of the whole Electrical, supervise and set on task multiple employees, able to work with other trades to coordinate lay-out for clean, cost saving and effective installations.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Seven (7) years as a Commercial Electrician, two (2) of which as a working Foreman
  • State of Alaska Journeyman Electrician Certificate of Fitness, State of Alaska Drivers License
  • Must have all hand tools. Electric, battery, mechanical tools are supplied
  • Simple math, Conduit Bender, Meters, Computer, use of all power tools, trouble-shoot electrical equipment
  • Supervisory responsibilties for Journeyman Electricians, Electrician Apprentices and Communications Cable Technician
