Acquisition Specialist, SME

Hybrid: This position will generally be onsite (Ft. Belvoir) two days a week and telework three days a week.

We are looking for an Acquisition Specialist, SME to support our Army government customer at Ft. Belvoir, VA.  We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned professional to support PEO EIS HQs - Army programs.   

• Possess Army systems or acquisition program support experience associated with contract management, acquisition program planning, requirements development, cost estimating and analysis, budget and financial management, systems and software engineering, logistics support planning, and test and evaluation support.
• Support development and the preparation of acquisition requirements packages (ARP) for all contract actions as required.
• Provide program analyses and assessments, technical studies/reports, and work-related products.
• Prepare, review and update program documentation in support of milestone decisions and other acquisition process reviews.

Required Skills and Experience

• Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in DoD Acquisition Management - Army desired
• Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college or university in a related field
• Experience with DoD 5000.74 helpful

Required Clearance

• Active DoD Secret security clearance required
