Looking for a Technical Project Manager, to support our Army government customer at Radford, VA.  We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Cost Analyst to support PEO EIS Army programs; this position is Remote with occasional short term travel (-10%).    
As a member of the Services Management division team, the Technical Project Manager (TPM) will support ALTESS customers and projects. The TPM will identify operational, technical and system requirements for customer projects, including requirements decomposition necessary for detailed bill of materials support for each specific customer project.  The TPM will develop standardized project checklists that can be used repeatedly as guidelines for initial customer project engagements and planning.  The TPM will practice Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) in defining and revising customer project checklists and processes. The TPM will coordinate, and lead when appropriate, with ALTESS cross-functional delivery teams of technical engineering resources during customer project standup and service transition. These TPM activities include managing all aspects of project transitions for on-boarding and off-boarding customers, and developing detailed plans for customer project tasks with input from Service Delivery Managers, Technical Account teams, Cybersecurity/IA personnel, and Architecture teams as necessary to meet service level objectives defined in the ALTESS catalog and agreed to by customer project personnel.

This position will leverage the following Cloud IT Infrastructure Technologies:
•  Cloud and Physical Servers running various OS types (e.g., Windows, Linux, etc.)
•  VMWare environment and associated tools
•  SAN, NAS and associated storage hardware
•  Backup hardware and software
•  Network Switches (Cisco, Arista, NSX)
•  Network Load Balancers (A10)
•  Firewalls (CheckPoint)
•  SolarWinds

Required Skills and Experience

• MS + 10 years of experience in an IT environment or BS + 12 year of experience in an IT environment
• Program Management Certification
• Security+ Certification
• Strong Cloud IT infrastructure experience across multiple disciplines (compute, storage, network, security, and operating systems) 
• Understanding of highly available, large scale, enterprise deployments
• Intermediate understanding of relational database systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with security tools and technologies
• Demonstrated ability to solicit requirements and design solutions to meet customer requirements
• Knowledge and experience with Information Technology (IT) services and data center management either traditional and/or cloud-based environments
• Familiarity with Agile and/or DevOps processes and methodologies
• Demonstrated strength in troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Manage all aspects of project transitions for on and off-boarding customers; including   development of project tasks and master integrated schedules as necessary with input from Technical Delivery Managers Service Delivery Managers, IA personnel and Technical Account teams and Architecture teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple offerings and environments across a wide variety of customers with differing requirements
• Experience allocating resources appropriately to meet client/program needs and minimize resource contention
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings to ensure all parties understand the deliveries and milestones and the resources that are assigned.
• Familiarity with a variety of scripting languages desired (Javascript, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• VMware NSX, Windows Server, Enterprise Linux, VMware, and infrastructure tooling experience
• Familiarity with a variety of database technologies desired (MS SQL, MySQL) 
• Experience with Federal Government contracts including security compliance guidelines for NIST 800-53 moderate and high impact baselines
• Demonstrated knowledge of the client's industry key business issues and priorities

Desired Skills and Experience

• ITIL v3 desired
• CCNP or equivalent hands-on networking experience
• Hands on experience with NSX-T and NSX-V
• Familiarity with OpenShift SDN
• MCSA/MCSE/RHCE/VCP or equivalent hands-on systems administration experience
• 2+ years hands on experience delivering cloud solutions (IBM, AWS, Azure, Google, VMware)
• Experience with the Agile methodology
• Manage a cross-functional delivery team leveraging the Agile methodology.
• ITIL V4 Certification preferred

Required Clearance

• U.S. Citizen with an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
