Computer Operator/IT Operations Support

Description

Maintain and return customers to normal IT Operations, as soon as possible, with the smallest possible impact on the business activity of the organization’s end user(s). Shall provide local and remote Technical Support Services for end user support on the NIPRNET and SIPRNET for DLA users/customers/activities located in the defined service locations.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to evaluate state-of-the-art computer hardware and software and its application to support specific requirements and to interface with other equipment and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot bottlenecks and propose recommendations for their elimination and make recommendations for system improvements that will result in optimization of development and/or maintenance efforts.
• Will require on-site travel using personal vehicle, company van, company golf cart or another motorized vehicle.
 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance
• U.S. Citizen
• Must have valid state driver’s license, personal vehicle and proof of insurance. 
• Must be fully 8570 compliant and hold one of the following IAT Level II or III certifications:
    o Security+CE
    o CASP CE
    o CCNA Security
    o CYSA+
    o GICSP
    o GSEC
    o SSCP
    o CCNP Security
    o CISA
    o CISSP (or Associate)
    o GCED
    o GCIH

• Must have an Active Secret Clearance
