Description

ECS is seeking an AWS and DevOps Engineer to work remote.

 

Required Skills:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience in a CI/CD or DevOps operations role in an AWS environment.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • 3+ years’ experience creating CI/CD pipelines for solutions delivery using AWS services, and technologies along with AWS well-architected framework best practices.
  • Container orchestration platform experience (ex: Kubernetes, AWS EKS)
  • Architect and engineer automated AWS Infrastructure to accelerate service delivery in CCoE.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000

  • Knowledge, skills and abilities of the architecture, engineering, and services of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities to manage Infrastructure as Code CI/CD pipelines in standard tools like GitLab/GitHub.
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities to automate the creation of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) infrastructures using industry standard tools such as CloudFormation, AWS Service Catalog, and GitLab.
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities to integrate CI/CD pipelines with other industry standard development and security tools such as Sonatype, Nexus, Veracode, Aqua, and Contrast Security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues in Amazon Web Services.
  • Communicate with designated SEC personnel by phone and email concerning the details of the issue, expected resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • Have the ability to research problems and contact and escalate issues with AWS or other third-party hardware/software providers.
  • Knowledge of a software development lifecycle that includes development, staging, and production
  • Experience with the native AWS management and governance tools.
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities on Agile processes and automating the collection of artifacts from Agile documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Skill in working with customers to understand their requirements and deliver superior solutions.
