ECS is seeking a VISN Project Manager to work in our Remote office.  

Job Description:

ECS Federal is currently searching for a full-time VISN Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to work collaboratively and bring creative solutions to our Veterans Health Administration (VHA) clients. This role contributes to improving the Veteran’s lives and working toward a larger mission.

In this role you will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM) as a Veteran Integrated Services Network (VISN) Project Manager. Support project management across multiple projects across the VISN. Support planning of projects and mitigate risks associated with IT network infrastructure installations (e.g., space, power, cabling, HVAC, fire code). Able to articulate best practices as it relates to cost and schedule. Ability to support senior leadership presentations, data calls and interagency collaboration.

Salary Range: $90,000-95,000

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
• Experience managing Information Technology related projects.
• Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies. 
• Experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress.
• Able to identify and mitigate risks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.
• Construction management, Schedule Management, Contract Management, Facilities Management, Risk Management, Data management
• Project Coordination - Budgeting and Forecasting, Cost Control, Quality Control
• Data Analysis - Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis
• Contract acquisition - Government Finance, Medical, Hospital, HVAC, Power, Electrical, Datacenter, Logistics, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in the VA.
• Experience implementing Electronic Health Records.
• Experience managing infrastructure build-outs associated with IT projects.
• Project Management Certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile).
