Court Support Specialist

Job Description:

A Court Support Specialist will travel to a Minnesota courthouse and access public records, located at the Public Access Terminals.  The Court Support Specialist will conduct their work at the courthouse on a daily basis.  This person will determine, based on standard operating procedures, which search results to retrieve.  This individual will work cooperatively with team members in an effort to efficiently process search requests.  This entry level position reports to the Records Supervisor. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accurate processing and reporting of search results.
  • Ensure timely completion of all search results.
  • Processes search results with the utmost care and attention to detail.
  • Internal department tasks and projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Must possess courteous and professional in-person, phone and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to a courthouse from home, on a daily basis, Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office & PC’s.

 

Skills:

  • Typing – 35+ WPM
  • Microsoft Suite – Intermediate
  • PC – Basic
