We are looking for a committed Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This individual is responsible for the payroll taxes, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and invoice reconciliations, journal entries, and more. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the CFO.  This role is primarily onsite near Chantilly, VA with minimal hybrid flexibility.  We are looking for someone we can develop to take over as the CFO in about 5 years.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient with full life cycle accounting
• Prepare, file, and pay withholding and payroll taxes
• Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner 
• Interact professionally with all clients and tax agencies
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Lead special projects and perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting/Business/Finance or related field

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• CPA license or CPA candidate
• PEO experience
• PRISMHR or similar database experience
