Primary Purpose of the Job

This person will be responsible for the retention and development of a specific assigned client base. This person will follow internal operational standards while processing research requests and results. This person will determine, based on standard operating procedures, which day to day activities require prioritization. This individual will work cooperatively with both internal/external clients and researchers in an effort to process research requests. In addition, this person will provide backup to supporting departments and participate in special projects when directed by Client Service leadership. This position reports to the Director of Client Services. 

Primary Responsibilities

    • Accurate processing of search results and results including regular updates on pending searches.
    • Retention and development of the assigned account base. 
    • Coordination between clients and vendors to ensure timely completion of all research requests. 
    • Support incoming calls and emails from clients and/or vendors. 
    • Internal department tasks and projects as assigned. 

    Qualifications

    • Must be detail-oriented.
    • Must be able to develop and cultivate relationships with counterparts within client organizations.
    • Must be able to independently prioritize day to day activities and unexpected distractions. 
    • Must be able to quickly resolve problems with client requests and follow through with vendor shortcomings. 
    • Must possess courteous and professional phone and written communication skills. 
    • Must be able to work independently and multi-task. 
    • Experience using Microsoft Office & PCs. 

    Skills

    • Typing - 35+ WPM
    • Microsoft Suite - Intermediate
    • PC - Basic
