Primary Purpose of the Job

Responsible for leading the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships from marketing to enablement to expand Verified Credential's network of platform and channel partners.  The Partnership Manager will identify and establish new partners that bring value to the organization, while building and maintaining partner relationships.

Essential Duties

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with Verified Credentials' growth plans.
    • Build strong relationships with partners, optimize partner performance, identify business opportunities to expand revenue and deploy a joint sales approach and value proposition.
    • Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with key platform and non-platform stakeholders.
    • Clearly articulate Verified Credentials' value proposition and the benefits of a partnership.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential partnership opportunities and stay up to date with industry trends and developments.
    • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, including terms and conditions and performance metrics.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and operations, to ensure seamless implementation and integration of partners into Verified Credential's business strategy.
    • Coordinate documentation of all partnership materials from technical requirements to go to marketing messaging.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of partnerships and provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team.
    • Represent Verified Credentials at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to promote the company's brand and develop new partnership opportunities.
    • Identify and expand feedback loops to streamline information, gathering and sharing to improve products, integrations, and services.
    • Stay informed of current policies and procedures.
    • Continue professional development through ongoing training and education.

    Required Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
    • Experience managing partnerships to achieve revenue goals and drive sales cycles.
    • Experience in developing and managing partnership metrics, sales strategies, contracts, and operational integrations.
    • Experience driving revenue through partnership programs - loves building and maintaining relationships.
    • Experience thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Demonstrated understanding of the human resources talent acquisition and background screening industry, including knowledge of relevant data and platform providers, industry standards, and best practices preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, partnerships or business development.

    Travel Requirements

    • Occasional travel up to 20% of the time.  Use of personal vehicle may be required.

    Physical and Mental Demands

    • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing at a desk and while working on a computer.
    • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
    • Regular and predictable attendance.
    • Regular interaction with other team members, including spontaneous and planned video meetings.
    • Ability to effectively perform responsibilities under occasionally stressful situations, including meeting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual standards and workload expectations.
    • Ability to work any shift and required overtime based on business needs.
