Social Media Manager
This role is responsible for analyzing data to develop and execute a social media strategy across multiple channels. Responsible for both daily social media management and strategic planning.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Develops and executes a social media strategy across multiple channels that reflects our brand heritage and looks to the future, connecting with new and existing audiences in meaningful ways.
Responsible for content creation, from ideating and producing to scheduling and analyzing, that echoes the essence of the Pacific Northwest.
Serves as the face and voice of AAA Washington online, engaging with our members and followers like they’re our neighbors. Manages our community with warmth and respect.
Analyzes data to track performance and applies those insights to adapt strategies.
Manages the social media budget and perform forecasting for overall program costs.
Creates and leverages opportunities to expand AAA Washington’s social reach, including ambassador programs and influencer partnerships.
Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and
active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.
Incorporates AAA’s vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and
motivates others to remain committed to AAA’s vision mission and values
WHO YOU ARE:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree (BA) in marketing, business or related field or equivalent experience
4+ years’ experience in social media marketing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years’ experience with social media metrics, data reports, and analytics software
Previous experience growing followers and engagement via quality organic content
Previous experience with influencer partnerships
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Strong content creation skills.
Advanced and demonstrated skill in creating short form brand videos for Reels and Tik Tok
Strong fluency and familiarity with social media channels, trends and algorithms
Excellent written, verbal, and visual storytelling communication skills.
Advanced skill in content writing and English grammar
High-level of knowledge of social media analytics tools
Ability to derive actionable insights from complex data
Familiar with social media advertising, campaign management, and optimization techniques
Strong problem-solving skills.
Highly effective facilitation and project management skill sets.
Experience successfully collaborating professionally and diplomatically with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to establish, nurture, and optimize key internal and external partnerships and influence
organizational change.

SALARY RANGE:
Annual salary range is $96,700 to $118,450 and offer rate is based on experience.
Opportunity for annual discretionary company bonus based on performance
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.
