HR Operations & Transformation Manager

The HR Operations & Transformation Manager will manage projects and day-to-day operational deliverables, ensuring efficient delivery of HR services, process improvements, and seamless integration of HR solutions & technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, process optimization, and a passion for change management and implementing effective, agile solutions to enhance HR operations. Will work closely with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and streamline HR operations.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR Leadership to design and implement an enterprise-wide talent management strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and Core Values and enables growth and development of our current and future leaders.
- Develop and manage a robust succession planning program to identify and prepare key talent for leadership roles; partner with HR Business Partner team and leadership to prepare actionable development plans for critical roles.
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partner team to ensure talent management initiatives support business objectives and foster a culture of growth and innovation.
- Lead and manage HR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that objectives are met within scope, time, and budget. Develop project plans, track progress, and report status to stakeholders.
- Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks within HR operations.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve workflows, increase productivity, and enhance the overall employee experience.
- Work with HR teams to map existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and design streamlined processes that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with best practices.
- Apply agile principles to HR projects and operations; Foster a culture of continuous improvement and flexibility by utilizing iterative cycles, feedback loops, and regular assessments to deliver value quickly and effectively.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of HR policies, processes, and systems, ensuring that all materials are clear, concise, and easily understandable for both HR teams and employees.
- Collaborate with HR leadership, IT, finance, and other departments to implement HR systems and technologies that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of HR operations.
- Analyze HR data to assess the effectiveness of HR processes and make data-driven recommendations for further improvements; Prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Ensure that all HR processes and initiatives comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on HR industry trends and best practices to ensure HR operations remain competitive and compliant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations, project management, or process improvement roles, with a proven track record of driving successful HR initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Certification in project management (PMP, Scrum, or similar) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and practical experience in implementing process changes in an HR context.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining clear, detailed, and user-friendly documentation (e.g., policies, procedures, user guides).
- Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and methodologies to document workflows and identify optimization opportunities.
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks and experience applying agile methodologies in HR or business operations.
- Experience working with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce, etc.)and other HR technologies. Familiarity with data integration and automation tools is a plus. This includes implementing changes in systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
