Houlihan Lokey’s Healthcare Group is a recognized leader in M&A advisory and capital-raising services, providing advice to healthcare IT, healthcare services, managed care and life sciences companies. With more than 25 investment bankers in Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, and San Francisco, Houlihan Lokey’s Healthcare Group is among the largest dedicated healthcare investment banking groups in the country. Responsibilities
The Healthcare Group is seeking to complement its Chicago-based team of professionals with a qualified, motivated associate. Deals are roughly 60% M&A, 30% private placements, and 10% restructuring. Associates are expected to be interested in an intensive learning experience in M&A and to be ready to work long hours in return. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative, outgoing, and possess strong financial analysis skills. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory, keen analytical capabilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Coursework in accounting and finance is highly recommended. Previous investment banking or directly related experience as a financial analyst or associate is highly preferred. Recent business school graduates will be considered provided they have two to three years of investment banking experience as a financial analyst or associate prior to their MBA program.
