Position Summary
Transform lives by being responsible for researching, identifying, and applying for grants that support the College's mission and programs. Manage the entire grant process, from grant identification and application to grant reporting and monitoring. Work closely with internal program and division managers and college staff to ensure that grant objectives are met and that grant funding is used effectively and efficiently as well as collaborate with local, state and federal agencies.

Duties & Responsibilities
Support, identify, and research grant opportunities that align with the College's mission, academic programs, and support services.

Prepare and submit grant proposals and applications, including budgets and project timelines.

Develop and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations, government agencies, and other potential funders.

Manage state and local grant compliance, ensuring that grant requirements are met and that grant funds are used appropriately.

Provide guidance and support to program managers and staff on grant-related matters, including grant reporting and monitoring.

Develop and maintain grant tracking systems to ensure that grant reports are submitted on time and that grant information is up to date.

Maintain accurate and complete records of state and local grant activities, including grant applications, grant awards, and grant expenditures.

Attend grant-related conferences, meetings, and other events to stay informed about grant opportunities and best practices.

Communicate with discretion and use independent judgement in interpretation and execution of administrative guidelines and protocols relating to grant resources.

Monitor grant performance and provide regular reports to the Director of Development, Vice President of Workforce & Economic Development and Community Relations, and the Executive Leadership Team.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in non-profit management, education, human services, business, finance, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of five years of work experience in a grant-oriented organization preferred.

Strong writing and research skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals.

Demonstrated use of technology and Microsoft Office applications required, especially Excel functions.

Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.

Must possess ability to:

Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
