Human Resources Business Partner 

PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

This role is responsible for aligning business objectives and Human Resource initiatives with employees and management in designated business unit. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for all aspects of the employee life cycle for the assigned business unit, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, leave management, employee recognition and development, HR processes, procedures, and operations. 

  • Ensures data integrity of all HR related transactions in HRIS and related systems. 

  • Collaborates with assigned business unit leaders to establish a business partnership to assess unit needs and future direction in order to influence and carry out HR initiatives. 

  • Serve as point of contact for all HR issues for employees and managers in assigned business unit. 

  • Oversees performance management for business unit, including collaboration with managers on corrective actions, performance improvement, and reviews. 

  • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace and implement measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Responsible for analyzing business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience. 

  • Collaborates with Sr. HRBP with the implementation of assigned HR program areas and strategies, playing a key role in streamlining HR processes and leading projects as assigned. 

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed. 

  • Maintains recruiting processes to improve diversity efforts related to talent attraction, onboarding, development, engagement, compensation, and retention. 

  • Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals. 

  • Incorporates AAA’s vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA’s vision mission and values. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • None 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in business, human resources, or related field or equivalent experience 

  • 3+ years’ experience in human resources 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 1+ year experience in travel, insurance, or membership industry preferred 

 

Salary Range: $68,800.00 - $79,150.00
