Job Description and Responsibilities

One of the best ways to prepare yourself for your investment banking career is through an internship at Houlihan Lokey. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of our team, gaining a meaningful, on-the-job experience, and getting to know Houlihan Lokey as a potential future employer. Throughout your internship, you will get similar levels of exposure as a first-year Analyst, assisting in the preparation of pitch and other client materials, and conducting market, industry and company analyses. Furthermore, you will gain experience in financial modelling, valuation analyses, support the due diligence processes on buy side and sell side processes and work as part of a project team on live transactions.

Qualifications / Requirements

•       You will either be an undergraduate, in your final year of study, or a graduate student  
•       You will have an outstanding academic track record and must be studying for a degree in accounting, economics or finance  
•       Previous internship experience within investment banking and / or related fields 
•       You will have an understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications  
•        Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills  
•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both German and English (additional language skills are also advantageous) 
•        Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail 
•        Good proficiency with MS-Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel 
•        You are highly motivated and have the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment
