Position Summary
The Cougar Crew serves as an extension of the Mid-State Outreach team, serving as the first point of contact for interested students. Members of the Crew will support recruitment and college awareness through event planning and participation, tours, and student panels.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support on-and-off campus activities including: high school visits, K12 campus events, community events, fairs, and other avenues of brand awareness.
Represent the College at events.
Assist with event set-up, take-down, and pre-event activity planning.
Assist College mascot, Grit, at community and campus events.
Assist in ordering and organizing promotional materials.
Positively engage with prospective student conversations.
Conduct calling campaigns.
Lead prospective group and individual tours.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester.
Be comfortable working individually or with groups.
Be reliable and punctual.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity.
Have a desire to promote Mid-State.
Must embrace Mid-State's core values of student centeredness, commitment, accountability, respect, integrity, and exceptional service.
Compensation & Benefits
$13.00/hour
