Position Summary
The Cougar Crew serves as an extension of the Mid-State Outreach team, serving as the first point of contact for interested students. Members of the Crew will support recruitment and college awareness through event planning and participation, tours, and student panels. The Influencer will also have the opportunity to positively represent the College throughout each of the communities in Mid-State’s district – even have the opportunity to serve as the college’s mascot!
Duties & Responsibilities
Generate brand awareness and create positive interactions with an audience of all ages to promote the College’s programs and mission.
Set up and break down of booth/table/interactive games at sponsored events.
Maintain supply of promotional materials, giveaways and raffle baskets.
Miscellaneous office projects (mailings, data entry, shredding, database cleanup, etc.) as assigned.
Social media postings as needed to maximize the College’s community reach.
Call prospective students inquiring their next steps to becoming a Mid-State student.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Completed or attending Mid-State program or dual credit course preferred.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to be outgoing with strong communication skills.
Must be able to work both collaboratively with other team members and independently as appropriate.
Minimal travel required for scheduled events. Driver's license preferred.
Have a desire to promote Mid-State.

Compensation & Benefits
$20.00/hour
