Position Overview:
Chemonics’ Climate Group provides technical advisory services for Chemonics’ clients as well as new business and project management teams. The Carbon Markets Senior Specialist’s role is to work with the Senior Climate Finance Advisor, and independently as required, to provide technical advisory services to existing clients and new business processes, supporting the technical design and implementation of high-quality nature-based carbon projects. The work will evolve as Chemonics’ climate finance work grows and changes with new contracts and clients and while the majority of tasks for this position will focus on carbon markets, the role likely will include some involvement in the Climate Group’s other climate finance activities. Key attributes of the ideal candidate for this position are 1) creative thinking and contributions to innovative technical approaches, 2) flexibility to shift between tasks, and 3) enthusiasm to learn and grow in the role. The Salary Range for this position is expected to be: $84,320 - $105,400.
An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
